Pakistan had Love-Hate Relationship with India at times

    Governance News Report, Friday 26-Aug-2011

It had been a love-hate relationship between Pakistan and India over the years, where hatred manages to remain most of the time. This has lead both the nations to the miserable catastrophe, where budget spending has been fixed for defense rather than social development. Attempts have been made in the past from both sides to defuse the tensions, but integral impasse on the issue of Kashmir still exists. There have been myriad bilateral dialogue sessions, visits of high level delegations, and meetings between the leaders in the past to solve outstanding issues between both the nations. But still no dynamic solution has been presented nor agreement been made to address the outstanding issues.

Since the bias division of subcontinent, it had been a love-hate relationship between two nuclear powers, and at the same time few wars were fought as well. This has resulted in further destruction and increased hatred and resentment across the borders.

It has been observed globally that public never willfully accepted war and tensions in their territories; it has always been forced by emperors and security forces, those had always remained busy in justifying their large existence and budget spending. This has become a miserable phenomenon across the globe and a cruel mind set has developed, lead the world to myriad ignominious catastrophes.

There are myriad obstacles in the way of peace, and issue of Kashmir is top most in the list, that played a vital role in building tensions in both the nations.  Involvement of terrorist groups from both sides of the border had always inflicted the peace process. There are certain political and military mind sets in both the countries, playing a critical role in keeping the disputes evergreen.

Media Influence in molding public opinion has a very critical role in contemporary era of media war. If media plays its positive role in defusing tensions in both the countries, it will definitely melt the hearts of the people across the border. (Think before you leap) Keeping in mind this lesson media need to play its role to publish only truth rather than exaggerating the stories and building tensions.

Recent visit of foreign mister to India helped a great deal in normalizing tensions between both the countries. It has been highly projected in Indian media as well. She has played a vital role in convincing India to bring disputed Kashmir territory under discussion as well. Releasing tension between both the nations is very important for the peace in the region. It is very important for Pakistan to have peaceful relations with its neighbors in order to build a strong economic structure and enhance social development. .

Its time for us to reconsider our outstanding disputes, its time to re-evaluate our actions in the past to maintain deterrence (tit for tat) and its time to come to the table to address all the issues. Its time to rethink our strategic plans and theories established to destroy each other. It’s time to give some thing to our new generations; it’s time to light a candle, its time to think above our ego, and its time to rebuild our relationships with neighbors. We are to dispense justice, peace, and harmony across the globe. We are to solve all disputes with our neighbors and will never let the generations to become the victim of biased divion of britishers.
